Posting pictures?

Is there an easier way to post pictures? Currently I put them on facebook... and just find the complete URL of where the picture is and use that. Is that like the only way to do it?

Adding an attachment, that I just realized isnt available in "post quick reply" box which is pretty much all I use. heh... It makes a small thumbnail in the post which can be clicked for full size.
