Heh. Just an example. These are posted in my DIY backdrop stand thread but they're pretty small. Here's the 800x533px version. Both were shot with my kit lens while I was testing out the light stand setup. Both were shot raw and then sharpened in PS. Point being, the kit lens isn't as sharp as a $1000+ L lens, but it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. Oh, and all you OS X users need to watch your back. The Linux penguin is starting to get jealous that your OS is becoming popular and his isn't ![]()

I agree that it is not as bad as people make it out to be, but I still don't really like using it. I like my 17-40 f/4L MUCH better.
