Analytics and iweb/mobileme help

So I finally worked out how to improve my hits on my site but now my only problem is that I cant get any analytics service to work with my site. I've bought an analytics package with my domain host (uk2net) and copy/pasted the code into the correct location (using iweb SEO tool). I have viewed the resulting html of the pages and the code is there as it should be but it's not recording and data? I did try google analytics first but on there status page it came back with an error as there could locate the code on my site. I am only using iweb seo tool to add these codes as this seems to be the easiest option.
These are the details of my site:

Iweb design
hosted on mobileme using my own domain name through uk2net

Published site straight to mobile me then to local folder. I then use iweb seo tool and open the local folder and make the changes then publish back to mobileme using seo tool.

What am I doing wrong? Could somebody please have a look and tell me if I've done it wrong please?

I've used SmartFTP on my Windows machine for years. Now, on my Mac, I am lost. SmartFTP doesn't make it's program for Mac's at all.

Any suggestions? I'm looking preferably for freeware, but shareware is welcome!

Poor Man's LDAP?

I'm project managing a small design firm, and I'd really like to get a shared directory going - something that's Mail.app friendly.

When I add clients to my list of contact, I'd like the rest of my firm to have access to that contact information, and vice-versa. I don't want to sync all contacts across the board, just a directory of work-related contacts.

However, setting up a whole LDAP server is overkill.

Does anybody know of a hosted solution for this? Something that 5 - 10 people can use without going to the unnecessary expense of setting up our own LDAP server, configuring it, and managing it constantly?

How to register your website with Google?

I am trying to register my website with Google, so that it comes up in searches easily. Can anyone advise me as to the best way to go about doing this? I have entered my site here: Add your URL to Google

Hi All,

i recently uploaded my website via easy iweb publisher, changed the site and uploaded it without incident a number of times. Over the weekend i got indexed onto google and now i am unable to upload and update my iweb site using easy iweb publisher. It says site/files uploaded successful but when i check on the web its still the same old site, anyone have any ideas???

I am setting up a new web site with iweb 2009 when I publish the site it only completes 3 off the 5 pages the 2 pages contain 1 picture movies done on imovie on each each page can't find out Why

Im a total beginner at html, a youtube tutorial was showing the basic stuff to make a website using notepad, having a mac I used textedit and save it as an HTML. I opened it in safari, but instead of having clean script, got this:

Upper Lever clothing

Am I doing something wrong? IS there a better program to learn HTML on?

iweb not saving changes

Well, I went against what others have said about not using WYSIWYG but I had no desire to learn HTML and I used iweb for my family's site. It worked well..and saved everything ok too. Until tonight. I made some changes and no matter what I try now, I cannot get it to save my changes. The little icons showing for each page is blue if it is saved and red when any changes have been made but not saved. I have tried numerous times to hit save but they stay red anyhow. I went ahead and hit "Publish Changes" and it says it did, but nope....it didn't.
This is on a basically new imac running SL (all updates done) and iweb 09.
TIA.

Edit: Apparently I didn't wait long enough for the changes to be made. About 15 minutes after I last saved..the changes finally occurred. Mea Culpa.

Another problem with comments in my iweb blog

Hi all!

I created a few websites with iWeb and I simply love that software, although it has its limits.
I have some blogs, and just now decided to give the site a face lift, so I changed to another template. All of a sudden all my blog comments (with a few exceptions for some reason) are gone. I can see them in iWeb if I go to the "entries" one by one, by they don't show up on the archive and they don't show up on the published website. Any suggestions???

FTP Uploading question Iweb

New to the site, looks like a great place to be
I successfully created a simple web page in iweb, saved file to folder on desktop. Hosting with Godaddy, have my own domain, used fetch to put my file
My question
my website is www.boxalot.net
but when I now go to that site it automatically refreshes and shows
BOX-A-LOT
Am I missing something?
Is it suppose to do that?

iweb HTML problem

I'm a pretty new mac user working on an iweb site. It's ready to be published except for a problem I'm having with one of the pieces of HTML I want to insert in the HTML widget.

The HTML is for people to sign up for a mailing list through Constant Contact and it brings them to a form. My old email marketing form HTML works fine, but the new one just shows the code -- not what it is supposed to display.

Is it possible the new code is not 'mac friendly' HTML?

I'm stumped and would be happy to post the HTML if ii would help.

I really appreciate any advice/help.

iweb photo albums won't display the way I want

I am making a site using Iweb with photos and an album page. The album page will only display albums in landscape format, cropping the picture. Is there any way to alter the album template to display in Portrait? Thanks:Confused:
