Question!? umm, this red dot, and 2 boxs under my mac specs and all that jazz, what is that? can someone explain what that is and its function? also what is this latest reputation received thing when i goto view my profile? Just curious.

the red dot is - red when your online, grey/not lit up when your offline.

the stars / things next to it are the reputation buttons

and the exclamation mark is - report a concern/this post.

to check your repuation go to your profile and it will be listed on your main profile page.

so how can you tell if someone dissaproves or who it was that approves/dissaproves?

If you go to the "Profile" section, you would see the latest reputation received. However it is not possible to find out who, unless mentioned in the comment field.
