Despite having a full browser, iPhone users would still benefit from a mobile version. Forums in particular cause the mobile Safari browser to crash more often than most other sites, I've noticed. It's also a small pain to navigate the various sub-forums, PM inbox, new posts, and so on. I personally love mobile-optimized sites such as Get Leaflets, Amazon, and Meebo - they are MUCH easier to use with my fingers on the iPhone.

I would like to revisit this again. The mobile sites are so much easier to view, even on the iPhone. Google, Yahoo, & eBay are just some examples of mobile sites. I think a mobile forum site is everythingq.com. I used to belong when I owned a Motorola Q before my iPhone.

Agreed. Wap is dead, but a mobile / touch interface optimized version would be nice.

I agree. I often try to surf the forum on my iPod Touch, and now I can see where everyone is coming from. It's tough to get my fat fingers to click on some of the teensy tiny buttons.
Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics! |

I have noticed that one of the other forums I belong to has made my iPhone crash many times and freeze up a few times, and that site does NOT have a mobile version available yet. They might do it with the next vBulletin upgrade. |

Yep, become a premium member (link in my sig) and one of the benefits is an iPhone skin for MF.
