Hey,
I just saw your site from MacFora.com and would like to let you know that you are starting out good. But if you want you can merge with my site MBForums.org, we use invisionboard too and all and we have a lot of coding, graphics, and press experts. Also you wouldnt have to give up your site or anything, in fact you wouldnt have to change anything, it would be more like if you where and affiliate but our team would be available to help you out with your site. We could: - make you a nice logo -create a portal for your site similar to ours - help you get your site out there - establish a larger member base Please let me know what your thoughts are on this. Visit my site www.mbforums.org and take a look at our site, even if you do not wish to "merge" I am still here to help you out with anything you may need. - monkeyboy Admin of Monkeyboy's Forums (MBForums.org) |

I will check out your site, and see what it's like.
I assume you are talking about the Invision board portal that everybody is using... I have thought about setting up a portal, but I don't think right now is the time to do it, if at all. I am sorta leaning towards the forum only, as there are TONS of portals out there, and they are basically all mirroring each other. So I think we will stick with just the board for now. Down the line, though, I would like the opportunity to exchange ideas and stuff. As far as skinning, and logo's go... I am working on those right now. I have skinned vBulletin quite a bit ( EX: www.centrixhost.com/forums ), but I have not skinned IBF before, and it looks quite a bit different. Again, I would like the opportunity to run things by you in the future. Thanks for your support, as this place is just starting out, and I could use all the help I could get as far as getting out there and being hit. Thanks again.... |

You need to register, and then up at the top right of the screen there is a "Database" button. Click that and it will bring you to an interface where you can view and download various skins. A lot of their skins are dark, and branded. There are some color options for the default skin, but they are very bright. No real middle-ground. But definately take a look. Hope this helps. |
