Is there a way to have threads in which I've posted marked as such? Other forums put a little check-mark by the the thread title or some some equivalent mark. Is there an option for something similar here?

The only thing I know to do is run a search for all posts made by me, then click the threads in the search results. It works, but I'd also like to easily tell which ones contain my posts when looking at the different forums.

If you click the *New* tab at the top header, then once a thread it read it will not show in that list again. If you read a thread then to the 3finger swipe back it will still show in the list, but will now not be highlighted.

Another way to know if the you have read a particular thread is when once its read the little chilli icon on the left is turned blue ...

OR hit *Quick Links* button near the new and then click *Mark Forums as Read*

If you look on the icons next to the threads, there is a little grey circle on the bottom left corner, that denotes a post by you in the thread.

<---- means you posted in it.

<---- no posts by you.

Blue is old, red is new.

Wow...that's very subtle. I noticed the color change, but didn't see the little gray circle. It'd be nice if it was a little more obvious, but at least I know what to look for now.

Another thing you can do is go to your profile -> edit options -> messaging and notification -> set subscription to no email (or whatever your preference may be)- then all the threads you posted in will be subscribed. A subscribed icon will show up in the forums. Also you can easily find the threads you posted in when you are subscribed by going to your profile (available at the top of the web page)

The subscribed icon looks like this and will be on the right near the divider (close to the last post column)

I have to agree that is really subtle. So much so most people would not notice the difference. Maybe a little more difference between the icons would be nice.

That's what I do. I'm actually surprised that some people don't use the subscription feature. I use it for every forum I visit. It's a little different for every forum but generally the feature basically does an automatic search for every thread a person has posted in and puts them in a convenient list when you click on the profile link in the forum menu section at the top. It will also always put the most recent active thread on top of the list so you will know quickly which threads have had recent replies.

As mentioned by Ivan on this forum there is a nice little icon next to the threads we have posted in. I believe this is what AUZambo is asking for because I think it's easily noticeable and is next to every thread a person has posted in.

Also if a person doesn't want to automatically be subscribed to every thread they reply in then they can manually suscribe to threads using the Threads Tool feature at the top of every thread menu.

Thanks for pointing that out. I had been manually subscribing to threads of particular interest (mostly the ones I started). After starting this thread I did go into my settings and set the default to subscribe to every thread I post in...I didn't notice the thing until you pointed it out. That solves my problems!

They should probably change the default settings to being subscribed to each thread.

I'm going to give that subscription option a try though. And yes, maybe it should be the default, if the result is a more obvious graphic.

Set it up for automatic subscription when I first joined here, I just forget to remove them sometimes and end up with loads of subscriptions lol

I think I managed to set that up, but I've not found it to not make any difference in how the threads are marked. I don't go to my profile, which seems to be the way to view subscribed threads. But then you don't see the new ones. That's not a feature I'll use.

I use my profile to see subscribed threads that have replies on them so I can then reply again if need be, after going through that I then use the "Get New" button at the top.
A bit like looking through my inbox for replies then looking at the new one lolol

That's what I do also. Many times I forget which section certain threads are in so rather than manually find them I like how profile just lists all of the threads I replied in and will constantly bring the most recent active thread to the top every time I refresh the profile page.

Once I'm done I then use the Get New link and find all the most recent active topics. Even if I don't use the profile link, subscribing to a thread means I get that nice icon on the right side of threads so I can see which threads I have participated in.

The only problem with this method is that I tend to not look at much older threads I have missed when I was away from the forums.
