Closing of Old Threads.

I've noticed a few very old threads being revived which is annoying to me because I think it's about something new but I look and the thread is 3 years old. One way to stop this would be to auto-close threads older than 6 months or whatever age you would like. This way, users can still view old threads and look for a fix for their problem but not bring back an old thread. Just another little suggestion from yours truly. Lol.

Agreed, I would like to se this as well.

Every once in awhile a member will dig up an old thread to revive the discussion, but those are few and far between - usually it's the spammers.

This sort of thing (opening old threads after months or years of dormancy)...happens all the time on internet forums.

I probably belong to about 8-10 internet forums (various topics)...and I don't think any of them have applied any sort of "auto-closing" of threads.

Not to say it doesn't happen on any internet forums...just I personally have not experienced it anywhere I visit.

It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
