Try NeoOffice, you should be able to get that one working and OpenOffice 2.x is very very nice and I can't wait until NeoOffice is updated with OpenOffice 2.x. I still use Microsoft Office mostly since Neo and Open have a much slower load time, but I am slowly transitioning since i do not plan on purchasing an upgrade to Microsoft Office.

NeoOffice here mostly for the use of the Excel clone. Apple needs to make a good Spreadsheet that is Excel compatible for their iWorks Suite. I use iWorks for Pages from time to time.

I am with Myrlyn, I hope the Neo people soon upgrade NeoOffice to the 2.0 Open Office code.

AppleWorks for most things. Keynote for presentations.

I eagerly await the day when iWork becomes a complete, mature suite. It's promising, but it's not there yet.

Word 5.1.... :flower: But I am increasingly having to use Word 2004 to read recent documents. But for my own stuff, Word 5 every time.

Spreadsheet wise, Excel.

Presentations, PowerPoint though Keynote 2 is slowly taking over.

While I dislike MS, I do like their Mac Business unit (The largest Apple software maker). It's not worth screwing around with open office or other stuff. As long as Office is the standard on windows, I'll use it on my Mac.

Right now I'm using OpenOffice but I'll be buying iWork soon because all I really need is a word processor and after demoing Pages, it's much simpler for me to use than OO.org's Writer.
