Being selected Mac-Forums Member of the Month is a great honor...especially knowing the knowledge base & years of experience other members possess...as well as knowing that there are many many other members who are just as deserving. I take my computing relatively seriously  ...or at least as seriously as a non-computer industry person can...but at the same time I try to be as humorous as possible when the situation presents itself! I enjoy helping folks with their Macintosh computing issues...and interacting with other Mac-Forums members via the threads, PM's, and the Sunday evening IRC (Internet Relay Chat) "get-together's". Believe it or not...I've learned quite a bit as a member of Mac-Forums...and when folks ask questions about Mac's from 5, 10, 15, or 20 years ago...it helps me to refresh my memory of issues that were present way back when! It's also really awesome to get to know Mac-Forums members from all over the world! Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer! |
