and the dock, personally, I think it looks terrible with a mini, and the remote sucks, makes your cord too long and i'd rather whip out the mini than some little silver thing...the mini looks cooler than the remote. i doubt anyone will buy this thing now, she's made a fool of herself...that's my opinion and im entitled to it.

And the dock, who the fvck really cares about a dock? They are nerdy and lame. Most people here probably already have a mac system and nice harmon kardon or jbl speakers. An iPod mini is purely a portable device for someone to privately listen to while they are jogging and such. So your dock is worthless when sold with the mini.
Used is used, it should cut your price down by thirty to forty percent. Which means you should be asking around $150-175. Total, because like I said when the dock and speakers are sold with the mini they are worthless. If you want to get money out of them you should sell them seperately.

Just because YOU yourself don't care about a dock shouldn't be confused with the fact that there are other people in this world and they carry different opinions and thoughts. People are willing to pay more for an unscratched ipod, and to that you may say, who cares but some people buy certain things for different reasons. Ok, smarty. Let's see...I've never taken an economics class then I guess you don't know much about the mac community... Let's start with a given, people who buy mac products are driven by it's eye appeal, and this can be seen when somebody tries to sell an Apple product with a scratch bringing the price down 10%(or round abouts) Finally, anybody who claims that people on mac boards already have nice speakers to play their music on is just pulling things from left field. I've got enough mac products and browse enough mac related forums to fill my bookmark bar and I can't honestly say that I've got any fancy speakers. And to the sane/educated comment I'll throw in that the Mac community is full of educated people and not so many sane, that's what makes it great....I don't know who gave you a key.
