But to be honest...I wouldn't be surprised if that value went down by $50+ bucks real soon due the most recent update of the low end MacBook.
I've also seen them sell on Craig's List for as little as $400!

I will probably try ebay and set the starting price at the lowest amount I can live with. Higher than $400, though. Don't think I'd be happy if that's all I got for it.

Personally I don't always agree with their prices...but Mac2sell does give you an estimate or "ballpark" number to work with. It's always possible to get higher or lower selling prices then what Mac2sell says on Craig's List, eBay, or private sales.

are you sure that has a core 2 duo in it and not just a core duo. doesnt seem right something with tiger on it and a blackbook that old.
Yes. I checked again.
Also, according to Mactracker, the only Macbook with Core Duo was the first one. After that, they are all Core 2 Duo. Mine is the second model, which was announced in late 2006.
