Low ballers should be permabanned....or forced to use PCs.
It's also a bit silly for anyone to try & negotiate a price openly in a forum where everyone can see & comment on what's being transacted.
Negotiations should be done via PM...otherwise instead of negotiating with just the seller, you're potentially negotiating with the whole forum membership!

Let's just make this easy for everyone...Mac2Sell says that this computer is worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $1620 Australia dollars ($1486 U.S. dollars).
Obviously $650 dollars is way too low. IMHO since the base model 27" iMac is $1699 US (with almost every spec improved on vs. the iMac for sale in this post)...I would say $1486 US is a bit overvalued...but somewhere in the $1200 US range would probably be a more fair asking price.
But then that's for any buyer's & the seller to negotiate.

Haha - Yeah I was offered $1500 so I'm ok with that.. Well, not really but I have come to live with it!
I paid $3000 in March so its a little bit of a kick in the guts!
Yeah...that really sucks that your older iMac is now half the value you paid for it in March!
This is why I try to convince people to almost NEVER buy the new stuff...but to buy the previous generation for the most "bang for your buck"...and slower depreciation.
Thus with the new Mac's just released...folks should be "eyeing up" what was selling for top dollar just a month ago!
Yes I know that you just bought the 27" iMac...guess where it's value is going to be in 1 year versus what you paid for it?
But sometimes we just got to have the latest & greatest...just the way it goes!
So are you going to accept that $1500 dollar offer?
