Just trying to get a feeler for what my Macbook bundle would price at....
Ive checked mac2sell.com and based on my specs, its telling me my macbook is worth approx $960CAD in change.
Its a white, 2.0GHZ Macbook CD, 1.5gb ram, 80GB HDD, Superdrive, etc. Im gonna run system profiler in a little while if anyone in here wants to toss me an offer....
I'm also trying to include in my sale a 30GB Photo ipod...its the Ipod+Hp model - always a classic hehe, a 120GB External LaCie Pocket HD, and an Apple bluetooth mouse.
My macbook would come with all original software (10.4.6) installed, apple remote, battery which still holds a charge as if it were new, and even packaging for both the ipod and macbook....
The macbook is in pristine condition, no cosmetic blemishes, or noticeable scratches, and Carbon Computing (Local authorized seller in town) replaced the trackpad and keyboard in october of 2007.
Ive attached a picture to show everything I would wanna sell...(note: you will see leopard is running but would have to be uninstalled and not included in the sale as what im running is part of a family pack my brother and I are sharing)
Im thinking based on m2s value + all the extras, around $1,100CAD...
what do you guys think?
Edit: that weird looking thing in the middle of the screen is the flash from my camera
Second edit! As of April 5 2008, $1.00 CAD = 0.993838 USD
I just put my Macbook specs into Mac2sell and it's telling me it's worth $400 more than I paid for it.
So I don't know that I would use that website as a barometer for pricing a newer model. It seems to be pretty accurate on Powerbooks and older PPC models, but not so much with the newer Intel units.
I could be wrong though. You are including some nice extras but you might want to check some other online sources to confirm you're pricing it correctly.
EDIT: My Quad MacPro comes up about $200 more than I paid for it as well...

Thats pretty interesting....i just ran it again to make sure i had the right specs, and it gave me the same thing again - $960 :S
I think the price would be justifiable...I paid $1,600 in change (w/ taxes) when i paid for it initially because of the upgraded HD and 2.0GHZ processor.
Ive seen prices on ebay for approximately the same....So if anyone is interested please let me know? i would be willing to negotiate a sale price for everything - My reason for selling is i need the $$$$ to put towards a down payment on a new car
nope I'm not really interested I would just like the macbook no ipod and all these fancy extras to push up the price. I would pay between $400-$500 for it but no more because my parents can't afford no more than that. I'm in serious need for a laptop for school so also consider that.
I'm not interested, but would just like to say that it's crazy. I have that same exact background for my other computer, the one my mom uses mainly now. And I have seen someone else I know with it as well. Pretty cool!

Thanks! It definitely is a cool background...i like the whole black/white default screens
Mac Specs: MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, TV, iPhone, Nano
You'd be lucky to get 750 for it. I tried to sell mine on ebay and its a black 2.0Ghz CD with 2 gigs of ram 250 GB Hard Drive. It never got above my reserve price of 700 so I'm keeping it and will give it to my parents when I get my new MacBook Pro.
yeah i would really like to get it all sold as a package....

really? i think thats kind of light...going by m2s, and some values ive seen on ebay in CAD..it would easily go for 850....its in MINT condition, and you're getting an ipod, External HDD, and bluetooth mouse....so i dunno...i would think $1,100 CAD is fair...
