Figured I'd post the mess that is my computer area. Just added a new machine, and thought it my prudent to document all the machines I have.

I was once trying to import a bunch of old tapes. |

It's as safe as it ever gonna be. Everything is all hooked into multiple surge protected strips, then plugged into line conditioning battery backups, and then into the wall.

Actually lost my power tonite, and the batteries worked awesome. I just need to open them up and disconnect the alarm. It drives me nuts. I was surfing the net on my laptop while the power was out. Was pretty cool. And the big one will run a router and access point for at least as long as the laptop will stay alive with a full charge.

Don't know
They must not have come over in the conversion to vB3. I will have to see if I still have them at home. Although this thread is old and my computer room has changed. I'll try and tke some new ones...
