Does installing shapeshifter mess up your system? in any way

just a question... does it use extra ram than if your system is using its regular skin.

I'm not exactly sure but I assume so since the application itself it always running in order to keep the themes on all the time. It probably doesn't use a lot but it has to use something. Nothing significant enough that I have noticed a decrease in performance.

Yes it does use RAM, but not a great deal of it. A little under 10 MB. ShapeshifterCacheManager + aped in activity monitor should cover it I think
