iTunes? No reason you can't use it to back up audio CDs.
By default, though, iTunes will copy using a "lossy" codec like MP3 or AAC to save disk space. To preserve the full quality of the CD, set the Importing encoder to "Apple Lossless" or "AIFF" in iTunes Preferences. Then just Import the CD, stick in a blank CD-R, and hit Burn. |

Most games nowadays have copy protection. I don't think there are apps like on Windows to workaround the protection but I have not looked into it
