[BI hoped to find a solution by reading past posts on this popular subject but could not.
Using ver 3 of Apple TV and iMac Mavericks with latest version of iTunes.
I cannot see any reference to Apple TV in iTunes preferences therefore cannot select it.
Searches for “how to add ATV to devices” were not successful so here I am.
Where do I find a way to add ATV to devices?
I should mention my version of Apple TV software is 6.1.1(6698.99.19) and someone said that version has been pulled by Apple. What gives?[/B]

What exactly do you mean by adding Apple TV to devices. I assume that you want the Apple TV to see the content that is in iTunes and on your iPad/iPhone etc.

To get the Apple TV to see other content such as the iTunes Library on your Mac you could enable Home Sharing.

The issue that preceded this inquiry was not able to access Netflix. Since then Netflix is restored (?) so I don't care if App;e TV shows up in devices of iTunes. Thanks for your help.
