After I updated my ATV3 to the latest iOS (5.0.1) less than a month ago, it refuses to connect to the iTunes Store! I've been trying since, almost every day, and I keep getting the same message "iTunes Store is unavailable, try again later".

I can access the store from my other Macs easily. My DSL internet connection is working perfectly and my ATV3 is connected to the internet. Of course I can still access my iTunes library via Home Sharing. I only cannot sign in to the iTunes Store. This is very frustrating.

It was working perfectly just before the iOS update.

Any help please?
Thanks a million

Hi,

have you tried any remedial action such as for example re-setting the unit ?

Yes, tried everything. Nothing works. I read this thread:

I guess this is more likely the issue. I'll try to downgrade and see what happens. Thanks

If it is the issue then it's not good.

I was eventually going to suggest a 'Restore' as a last resort but it's a bit poor that you have to do it after an update.

Hope it goes well.

Yeh. I know :-(
That's what happens when Steve is not around anymore.... ;-)
I hope they issue an update soon. Seems they are aware of the problem.
Thanks for everything anyway
Cheers
