Trying out Apple TV. It has worked well with streaming from iTunes and my iPad, but cannot get audio if mirroring with my Fall 2011 MBP with Mountain Lion. Have a surround sound with a Denon AVR 559 Reciever. Talked with Apple Care and I get audio from the TV if just using the HDMI cable. The TV does not have a digital audio port to test it. Since the digiltal audio works fine with iTunes and the IPad there seems to something in the way the audio mirrors or the fact that I am getting no seperate Audio output on mirroring as compared to streaming. Apple TV shows up as a Sound output option but does not ler me select it. Once it works with the TV and not the receiver cannot get any further help from Apple Care. Different Audio output from Streaming vs. Mirroring? Bug? Any Ideal?
QUOTE Thanks
