I recently got AppleTV but have stupidly mislaid the software disc that came with it. Does anyone know if this is downloadable, or whether ATV is usable without it?

Thanks in advance

I don't recall it shipping with a disk but I might be wrong. What generation of ATV do you have?

iMac 27-inch Mid 2010 (wow....that old...eeeks!), WD My Book 1TB Firewire,WD My Passport Air 500GB, Magic Mouse,Magic Trackpad,
iPhone 5C, iPod Nano 4GB 3rd Gen, ATV2.

I don't think any generation of ATV came with a disc.

What is it that you need to do?

Hmm, I was pretty certain it came with a small disc (this is in the UK, incidentally). Perhaps I'm mistaken. In which case, great - is it just a case of plugging it in, then? I just want to start using it

Thanks a lot.

Yes that's all you need to do really.

Though if you have any issues we could really do with knowing which AppleTV you have
