Lucky enough to have a Home Theatre set up.

For my main viewing/listening set-up I have one HDMI cable from the ATV into the Denon amp and an Apple TV activity configged on my Harmony One Advanced remote. I don't bother buying hard copy Blu-Ray DVD any more so the player is pretty much defunct.

In fact since I got the ATV I've unhooked an Onkyo digital media transit and don't use the CD disc player either.

If you've already got the Apple hardware I'd invest your money in a decent AV amp and speaker set-up so you get 5.1 audio for the movies, stereo L&R for the music when you want and 1080p on your 1080p TV.

iPhone 4, iPod Nano 4GB 3rd Gen,ATV2, Samsung LE40 Series 6, Denon AVR1910, Kef HTS 1001.2’s and Kube-1 Sub
Denon DCD510AE, Panasonic DMP-BD60,Sky+HD,Logitech Harmony One Advanced. MOTM October 2012.
