Is there a way to connect my apple tv to my big screen tv. I would like to wartch the movies I down load on my big screen. Thank you t111853

I can't help but think that I'm not understanding exactly what you are asking. The Apple TV has no visual interface and only works through an attached display or TV.

Also, which model are you asking about?
Because, if you are looking for specifics on hooking up to a TV, that matters.

I've always wanted to be smart, handsome and modest. But, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with two out of three . . .

I am so sorry I meant I want to connect my mac book to the big screen. I do have an apple tv unit also and I love it. But my husband would like to connect the mac book to the big screen. the mac is about 2006 or 2007 thank you t111853

I'm not getting this. OP says wants to know how to connect ATV then says wants to connect Macbook whilst declaring love for ATV which is apparently not connected. Is t111853 a bit confused, does she really want the ATV twiddling it's thumbs?
