    is it true that if you jailbreak it you can get any channel?

    cable tv channels. i heard you can stream movies and sports etc for free once its jailbroken. i want to get all the soccer channels.

    No.

    Jailbreaking just lets you install non-Apple approved software. It doesn't circumvent paying for cable!

    If networks/sites stream live-to-air TV over the internet, in many cases there is a software solution to watch that. E.g. there's a BBC iPlayer plugin for XBMC on a jailbroken AppleTV.
    Not been around these parts for a while. Trying to change that . .

    ohhh i see. cool. i think i might get one. i saw a video on youtube this guy jailbroke his apple tv 2 and he had all the sports channels. from espn to espn3 etc.
