My iMac and my Apple TV are in my bedroom. When I use the Apple TV remote for some reason it turns on my iTunes library and music starts playing. Is there any way to deal with this conflict short of turning off the iMac? (Weird problem, no?) Thanks, Michael

Pair the apple remote with the Apple TV. Once paired, only the ATV will respond to the remote.
