I have the excellent Apple TV Mk. 1 version with the inbuilt 160gb hard drive.
HOW - do I gain access to the menu to adjust Volumes and put my videos, films and TV Shows into the right categories - anyone please ??Live each day as it comes - it may be your last !?

- 3.4 Ghz i7 27 in iMac (2012), 3.4 Ghz i7 MacBook Pro (2015), iPad Pro (2014), iPhone 6+
It needs to be done via iTunes and then uploaded or streamed to the ATV 1. The ATV1 will show up as a device in iTunes and you can edit media already on it but it's generally easier to via iTunes.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).
