I have a particular genre of music and a playlist that contains a good chunk of the music from that genre.

I have 2 ATVs. On both of them, when I view what is available to stream from my Imac itunes to the ATV's, that playlist and that genre are nowhere to be found.

In fact on one of the ATV's I set it up to sync that playlist and it's still not showing up.

The files are all in mp3 format.

Any idea why this would be happening?

Are the songs in question "checked" in iTunes?

That did it! Thank you. So elemental. As apple adept as I am and as many devices as I have, that whole checked/unchecked thing still eludes me.

Thanks for your help.

I figured that was it. When I got my first ATV (original ATV) it took me a few hours to figure that one out too. I never kept my music or vids checked and NO WHERE does Apple tell you that you need to for this to work, they just assume you already have it checked.

Glad that worked out for ya!
