Can you surf websites on the new Apple TV?
I came across a hack for the old Apple TV where you can modify the software so you can use the Apple TV to browse the internet. Can this be done to the new Apple TV 2010 2nd generation model?

    Going Galt...
Unlikely. Teams boxee or XBMC may come up with something at some point, but it may be a while.

That way you'll be a mile away from him, and you'll have his shoes.

    iBook G3 - You'll be missed.
Not yet. We'll have to see once it's released. It might be running an iOS variant, so it may have mobile Safari built in instead of the desktop Safari that was in the previous generation of Apple TV. The old Apple TV was running a modified version of Tiger. If the new one is indeed running the iOS, I am sure browsing will be much more pleasing that it previously was.

    We'll just have to see...
