    Advice on Apple TV
    Please excuse my ignorance, but...

We will be buying a new TV with the intent of using the new Apple TV. I am assuming the following...
    1. I can connect the Apple TV to the new TV through an HDMI cable.
    2. My home network can stream music, videos, iTunes material, from my iMac to the Apple TV (wirelessly).
    3. The new Apple TV will access my network (wirelessly) through which I can access Netflix, etc.
    4. My music, on in my iTunes library on my iMaccan be played through the TV (or connected speakers) via Apple TV.

    Thanks for the help. Neil

If it's just audio, yes. If it's video, apparently not.

    Yea, me to.

But if some one subscribes to Hulu. They probably wont rent the content from the apple store.

I looked into this but decided to just stick with plugging my MacBook into my TV. I was really hoping that they might offer some kind of monthly service that would allow unlimited access to TV shows (at least some) on iTunes (like Netflix).

    I'm not.

You'll notice Apple tends to offer TV *with no ads.*

That rules out Hulu pretty quick.
