Apple and Best Buy still in talks

Apple and Best Buy are still in contract talks for bringing on the US retailer as an Apple reseller, according to a source familiar with the situation.

Earlier this month, insiders confirmed that the two companies are still considering a plan where Best Buy would sell Apple products, and Apple would staff the stores with its own employees to help boost sales.

I don't know about the Best Buys in your area, but the ones in my city are filled with ignorant "PC Supreme" employees in the computer sales dept. It would do the customers good if Apple sent their staff to the stores. I know I would apreciate it.

I agree...it will be a good partnership as long as Apple is providing the sales reps for the store.
