Nope, just got off the phone with them and they said they just started this may 5th, and since I bought mine before that, I'm outta luck. Shucks.

That's life me friend. You make your best deal and either go with it or reject it. Be happy with your decision and never look back after you choose.

I know I was thinking it. It isn't like it was purchased last week... it has been two months.

I thought the same thing. Bought back in March, how could you expect them to give you anything 2 months later? I mean, if it was a week or two ago I could understand, but definitely not 2 months.

To spare myself the wait on shipping, I bought from a local authorized reseller two weeks ago. Their policy isn't as good as Apple's and I didn't realize it until the upgrades came out last week! Oh well.

Rules of buying hardware:

1. Buy it
2. Never look back or you WILL regret it

If you want to be happy? Buy it, stop tracking the market, and enjoy your wonderful new machine.

Luckily Apple gave me a refund on my macbook that i purchased 3 weeks prior to update. I upgraded the HD to 120gb for 135 more and they were willing to give me 150.
