That image is a horrid photoshop job. Apple can make it look much better than that.

Is there a mac conference in june?
Do new mac products always get announced at shows?
Just wondering if there could be a new update to the imacs coming soon, or not.

Mac Specs: Mac Pro, 3.2 GHz 8 Core, 8 GB RAM, 2*750 GB Disk, nVidia 8800 GT
I am still speculating that over 2007:

- Mac Pro goes octal (8 cores)
- iMac goes quad (4 cores)
- Mac Mini goes Core 2 Duo (2 cores)

Nice easy differentiation based just on number of cores!

I would love to have my macbook pro having my 2nd gen blue ipod's colour

That would be beautiful! I'm sure along the years apple will release them in different colours!

You definitely want to go for an iMac. In my personal opinion, it's the best computer. If it wouldn't be such a pain for me to load it up every time I went home, I'd have one here at school. I find myself looking forward to graduating just so I can have an apartment with an iMac...haha. My G5 at home is still kicking. I love it.

I have been waiting impatiently for Apple to update the Mac Pro. If they don't do it during NAB and wait until the WWDC in June, I'm gonna be upset.

First the rumor was January at MacWorld (and we all know how that turned out....), then the rumor was February 20th. Then sometime in March. NAB is April 15th, when they "usually" update thier Pro line, apps and hardware. If they don't........well..........I guess I'll have to live in disappointment for a while longer.

This waiting is driving me nuts. I don't want to buy now because I'm waiting for 1) octo-core 2) better video card options (8800 GTX maybe?) 3) Leopard 4) iLife/iWork 07.

# 3 and 4 don't bother me that much, but the other two I really want. The Mac Pro was introduced in August 2006. Here we are in March and not one single update to the Mac Pro line........
