    New Update 10.4.6!
    i just check the Software Updater, and guess what? 10.4.6 update is out. Yes they have got another version. Includes general system fixes, as well as specific fixes for the following programs and technologies.

    - login and authentication in a variety of network environments
    - file access and byte range locking with AFP file sharing
    - network access when using proxy server automatic configuration files
    - connecting to Cisco VPN servers using IP/Sec
    - using Bluetooth wireless devices
    - searching iWork '06 and Microsoft Office documents with Spotlight
    - saving Word documents automatically when using a network home directory
    - creating Automator workflows for iPhoto 6
    - synchronizing contacts and calendars to .Mac and mobile phones
    - mounting and unmounting iDisk volumes
    - compatibility with third party applications and devices
    - previous standalone security updates


    Big one for us Intel Users (Me!)

    The PPC update is 45.3MB. May differ.

    Yes, it's also for the PPC Macs. I just installed it on my iMac G5 2.1Ghz iSight. They even fixed the percentage problem on the calculator that a person here on Mac Forums was having problems with the other day. It now does percentage correctly.

    This may sound rediculous but does anyone on a G4 Powerbook besides me notice that safari feels faster? I doubt it, I'm probably just thinking that.

    Ok so for something that definately changed, I have a logitech MX1000 and titlting the scroll wheel left used to open spotlight and it doesn't anymore. Also the vertical scroll down button doesn't do the same thing as command tab anymore. Kinda weird.

    It actually does feel faster to me too... Hmm...

    feels faster for me too, it is kind weird. but thats good.

    What going on with all these updates lately?
    They have all been big updates to, 108Mb. thats a huge patch.
    I move from Windows to get away from this stuff

    I agree. I dont know about all of you, but I have felt a slight slow down on my iMac G5 1.8Ghz machine, during the restart/startup
