Lost Harddrive Space?



Where is my space going? I don’t know what is taking up my hard drive, please help. I have tons of “Other,” how do I delete it? My hard drive is full and I can’t find what is using it. We see these questions all the time on the forums. People get especially concerned when they open their System Profiler, and see “Other” taking up so much of the drive. What is “Other”? I wanted to go bigger with the SSD, but couldn't afford it at the time. Maybe when I get some extra funds, I'll go bigger, but for now this works great.

I know I tried 2 different ways of splitting my data until I found something I liked and didn't slow down the performance of the SSD.

Wow, I seem to have a lot of "other" (53GB). I'm betting that a good portion of that is my collection of VMs and the 7GB of content I'm downloading right now for StarCraft 2.
