Anyone know when it is being released??/Anticipated launch date(s). Want it to drive down the price of the current/old(er) iMAC and get one at a steal price. For me there isn't that much difference in running speeds, and I am not into gimmicks.

The iMac was just updated last week. You shluld be able to order one now, except the Apple store is down right now. The prices did not change.

You might be able to find one of the older iMacs on eBay for cheap, but don't expect to find them anywhere else. Maybe one of their authorized resellers, like Microcenter, et al.
