Although it seems likely that Sprint will in fact be carrying the iPhone shortly, they did themselves a real disservice by suing to oppose the AT&T/T-Mobile acquisition. I mean, I understand why they did it, but if they want to carry the iPhone, is angering Apple (who is of course very much in bed with AT&T) really the way to do it?

Ok. Ive been waiting for the iPhone to come out on Sprint. My question is what is the best way to get the iPhone as soon as possible without going to the sprint or apple store on launch day. I am not down to wait in line. I just want to preorder with sprint and have them ship it to me. I don't mind if I wait a few days after its released. Can I do that? Can I place the order with sprint prior to it coming out or when it comes out and sprint ships it to me? or are they too busy and will tell me to go to the store or they won't ship till later? Thanks

You're asking questions that none of us can answer. No one knows for sure if Sprint will even start selling the iPhone and no one knows when Apple will release the iPhone 5. If you're already a Sprint customer, I imagine the fastest way to get one if and when they're released, is from Sprint. Contact Sprint customer service.
