The universal access sounds sweet in my opinion. The only problem might come out of booting in an intel from a powerpc. All the wireless stuff sounds good too. I could care less about social integration. Most importantly, I will be looking forward to anything that's new in physical appearance/shape.

I'm sure whatever it is, people will find a way to be disappointed that it wasn't more. I hate the hype building up to these things, it just works the faithful up into a tizzy.

Number six (wireless sync) is long overdue. That should have been added ages ago.

Don’t be surprised if the two OSes eventually converge and all of Apple’s products run on its mobile OS someday.

I will be surprised. iOS has a long way to go before it can be used on a desktop/notebook as a sole OS. My guess is that they will continue to converge but never meet. The devices and their needs are too different for them to be using the same OS (remember what MS tried and is trying to do with Windows on tablets).

Normally, I see a link somewhere on Apple's site indicating WWDC 2011 and the keynote. But I'm not seeing it. Maybe they're building anticipation?

I agree with wireless sync.

I disagree with iOS/OS convergence not happening. iOS is already rooted with OSX, so it's really not going to take much more performance improvements in the tablet market/mobile market before the demands on a device of a more intensive OS isn't noticed by the user.

Not necessarily. They streamed it live last year and may do so again.

Apple only streamed it live once, maybe they decided that it didn't work well? I do know when they did it last time, there were definitely issues with the stream and people getting and staying connected.

Just join the IRC chat, it will be almost as good
