There are many Android items out there that do not use the app store. Not to mention several forums, web pages, etc that sell apps (and have free apps too). I can install a 3rd party app through my wifi and a shared folder, through my sd card, or download from a webpage, if the, “Run un-certified apps” box is checked. What are they going to do about Barns and Noble, as well as other companies that have a base Android OS, but do not connect directly to the Google Android market, since they have their own? |
