That makes sense. It would appear that Apple would want to look toward improving the products they already have on the market. There is going to be some stiff competition coming in on the iPad side from just about every major tech (computer oriented company) out there, hence Apple is going to be doing whatever it takes to make the iPad the go to device for those looking for a tablet style computer.

The iPhone has been under heavy attack by Google and the Android smartphone market, and again Apple will have their hands full getting more phones out to the smartphone hungry market. With the likes of India, China, and South America still looking for the iPhone to get into their markets Apple is looking at a huge market to that is hungry for new phones and other similar devices.
