Interesting article, however, I didn't know or realize the Mac had left.

Sure wish someone would keep me apprised of these things. Darn as a Mac user for almost 24 years now you would think someone could have at least sent me a memo.

The Mac remains a very profitable platform for Apple (the Mac brings in almost half as much revenue as iOS devices) and is still growing.

It's not so much that the Mac is back, as that it is still here, and still doing quite well.
