[font=Optima]Burried in this Yahoo news interview with Sanyo Chip Center chief, Shoichi Ishida, is this little blurb:
For example, when Apple Computer Inc. (AAPL) released its new iMac with a 15-inch liquid crystal flat display in 2002, Ishida saw the potential to improve its sound quality with a Sanyo amplifier. After the engineer showed a custom-made prototype of the amplifier to Apple, the U.S. company saw the potential as well, and a peripheral product sporting the better sound system will come to market soon, Ishida says.

It might be a little bigger than that (internal speakers). :unsure:Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, It's about learning to dance in the rain!

Argh.... internal speakers!! My ears!! Apple really needs to get on to that problem. A huge percentage of mac users will play music on their machines and it would save a lot of hassle if Apple bundled decent speakers with their products.I'm in your forums, writing sentences in a grammatically acceptable manner.

I heard the eMac has good sound. My iMac's sound is awful!
