MacMinute's take on it:
Source: MacMinute.com Apple's iCal, iSync get an update October 8, 2003 - 08:35 EDT Apple today announced the availability of iCal 1.5.1, an update to the company's calendar program, and iSync 1.2.1, an update to its synchronization software. In addition to managing multiple calendars and sharing them over the Internet, iCal now includes an all-new interface for creating and managing event details and improved support for working across time zones. iSync, which allows users to instantly sync their Mac address book and calendars with their mobile phone, Palm OS device, iPod and other Macs, now delivers calendar support for Symbian-based smartphones and supports new mobile phones from Sony Ericsson. My Comments: Looks like a pretty decent upgrade ---> Join the Mac-Forums Folding team: use 37954 as your team number.View Mac-Forums Folding team statistics (More Info) Don't forget to use the User Reputation System |

Apple releases iSync 1.3 October 24, 2003 - 12:37 EDT Apple today released iSync 1.3, a new version of its popular synchronization software. According to Apple, iSync now offers "calendar, contact, and to-do synchronization for the Sony Ericsson P900 and P800, as well as the Nokia 3650, 7650, and N-Gage smart phones. With these phones iSync also syncs the Address Book picture to the contact info, so you can see a picture of the caller when the phone rings. In addition, iSync now supports several new Bluetooth phones from Sony Ericsson, the T616, T630, and the Z600. Finally, .Mac users who sync their bookmarks can now view, edit and use them from any browser by visiting bookmarks.mac.com." My Comments: It's good to see them updating this stuff Now if they would integrate iCal, Mail, etc.. I would be a happy man
