On apple.com the updates really did not get a alot of cover. Apple has all these tiger things up. The emac did not even make it the front page of apple.com. The imac did but it is in a small corner, and less then a week after the powermacs got updated they are not on front page of apple.com. Did apple over play tiger and therefor did not have anywhere to put the updaes on the front page? Or did they not think they were important?

well, thos upgrades are important, but not as much as tiger. OS X is the main reason for switching and since microsoft started to advertise Longhorn, apple really needs to overhowl them with tiger campain. I think thy are doing the right thing

Tiger is much more important than any iMac's or eMac's. The most important "switcher" product is the Mac mini, which has received plenty of coverage. Combine that with Tiger, which has been all over the news over the past week, and you have some pretty decent publicity.

Now all Apple needs are some new commercials...
