I can safely say: that grand total of money has GOT to be near $3000, especially with those specs.

Yep, I was just going to get the 21.5 inch, but I honestly couldn't pass up that hardware for only around $2000. Plus, I put it on the credit card for rewards points and I should have almost all of it paid off by the time it ships. Unfortunately, it doesn't ship until November.

Ouch, November.... that will be a tough wait. Congratulations though, I think you picked a great time to make the jump.

Yes, the wait will be very tough. However, I will have to figure out how to re-arrange my desk or possible room to make enough space for this freaking thing. I'm almost considering NOT hooking up the extra LCD screen.

The new remote looks a little similar to the iPod nano. Pretty nifty.

Wow, the 27" iMac is very impressive and I like the new MB design. It's more rounded like the Pro and to me looks more sleek. I can see the Magic Mouse being a little tricky to pick up at first with the movements on a mouse, but once mastered will be pretty cool. Apple continues to impress and smash Microsoft. Good job Apple!

Apple just turned my less than a month old 13" MBP into a metal chassis MacBook. I even paid the extra$ for the 250gig Hard drive. I dig the new imac though!

Im definitely going to get the new mouse, but I am going to stick with my good ol' silver plastic case Macbook Pro until it becomes outdated and the new OS updates aren't available for it. Then I will upgrade to a newer mac.

Sorry but it has to be said, Apple puts out this gorgeous 27" iMac with a 2560x1440 resolution and still no Blu-Ray support?!? tell me a movie playing on this display at 1080p wouldn't look amazing.

and don't give me that "bag of hurt" garbage...
