What did you order CWA, the new mouse or iMac?

Kinda sad being an owner of a 3 week old macbook pro 13" base model from Best Buy...

Now for less money I could have had the same specs in a regular macbook....

but, i still love my MBP

I'm going to be swinging for a new 27" iMac around xmas time I love holiday bonus checks at work

Will probably keep it standard other than upgrading to the i7.

Ah ok, makes sense.

I figured it might be the mouse as the iMac is a bit of $$$.

The Macbook AGAIN does not have a Firewire port of any kind.

For myself... I just sold my 24" iMac and picked up a 15" MacBook Pro.. but **** that 27" screen is tempting..
Nice!

One thing I want to mention is the price.
In Australia the new imacs are $1600-$2600. Heck I paid $1600 for my white 17" imac back in the day. And now for the same price I can get 21.5 inch sweet imac.

Not so sure is the graphics in the base model is any good or I should pay the $400 more for the better graphics. Hypothetically speaking that is. As I would like to start saving and see what I am up against It looks so sweet.

Also does the new Magic Mouse have a right click like the Mighty one did?

K Change of plans for me

Have officially busted into the savings account my parents set up for me for school, and am buying the 27" i7!!!

I'll just replace the money in the account in December, lol.

I'll have pics and reviews when I get it. I'm going to get ahold of Small Dog here, and see if theyre expecting them soon, if not I'll order it online.

My MBP has the base graphics card, and I can run WoW at decent settings without problems. Don't know what you plan on using it for, everyones needs will be different.Though if you can afford it now, might as well get it rather than decide later that you should have bought it. Either way I'd bet you fall in love with the machine.

@ the8thark - Yes the Magic Mouse does have right click. Apple - Magic Mouse - The world’s first Multi-Touch mouse.

According to the video, if you click at the upper right corner, it acts as a secondary click (and this is reversible for left-handers). I really hope they fixed the glitch where you have to raise your left finger to do it though!

Thanks
Another question.

I went to configure the imac on the apple site just for fun. And there is under mouse 2 options.

The wireless Magic Mouse — the world’s first Multi-Touch mouse — comes standard with your iMac. Or you can choose the wired Apple Mouse.

Apple Magic Mouse
Apple Mouse

I know what the first one is. But is the 2nd one a wired version of the Magic Mouse or is it just the Mighty Mouse wired or what? I'd really hope it is a wired Magic Mouse. Because I like not having to change batteries in my mouse.

From what I can tell, there is no wired version of the Magic Mouse yet. The 'Apple Mouse' is simply the old Mighty Mouse renamed.

WOW ..... What more can one say ??? That 27' looks like a amazing piece of kit. And the resolution just tops it out to the max. Will be looking to order that magic mouse.
Pity i love my White MacBook so much and really have no reason ATM to up-grade.... But Hmmm so tempting.

Looks like it might be a early christmas for a few ..lol

Cheers
