Got some of the magic

We picked up the Magic Mouse last weekend. The very low profile and sharp(er) edges have taken some getting use to. But the touch scrolling is the coolest thing EVER! And contrary to what some are saying, it does do right click. You just have to turn it on in the preferences. my main gripe is the height. If the mouse was a little taller, it would be perfect for me. YMMV.

Mac Specs: MacBook 2.1GHz Core 2 Duo | 1GB RAM | OS X 10.6.2 | 250GB External HD | 8GB iPod Touch 1st Gen 3.1.1
I have yet to pick this up. Haven't checked my local Apple Store to see if they received a shipment of the MM, but if they did receive one, then I'm definitely buying it. Despite what reviews it has gotten, I'll probably still be happy with it. I have always loved Apple's products.

Me too. I think the mouse could've been more rounded a little in the edges, and maybe rubberized at that too. I still like the touch sensitive scrolling. I also like that based on which side of the mouse your finger is on, when you click it determines if it's a left or right click. At least that's how I interpret it. I also want to attempt at adding some sort of lighting to it, just to take advantage of the clear plastic top. It might add a cool effect. Based on what I've read, it appears that you have to set it up for it to differentiate between L and R clicks. Interesting piece of hardware. Kudos to Apple!

Well maybe have to set it up to differentiate between L and R clicks. But the end user does not have to. Once it is paired to the computer it works. Mind you if you want left click on the right side and right click on the lest side cause you are a leftie mouse user you have to set that up but that's it.

i like my new MM. Just use it for awhile and it comes to you. OS update required for multi-touch
