If Apple really want to impress, they need to space the USB inputs further apart. If I plug a USB Mobile Broadband stick in, its so big, I physically cannot stick another USB in. I had to buy an adaptor....
I completely agree I had to buy an adaptor and then it just got ugly with all the wires and stuff. They need to improve there. Little things like that make people happy especially me!!! haha
I really liked the black ones they had..what was the problem with those? I like the aluminum ones but I really am not sure about the click pad. I like the idea but I love the pad on my white macbook

Black was my favorite MacBook. Dark, with that bright white Apple logo on the front. It just looks professional to me. But Apple is trying to get greener, aluminum unibody and edge to edge glass screens seems the way to go. Now if only they would ANODIZE it in different colors like they do the iPod nano, heck I'd buy a new MacBook Pro!

I kind of like the "both sides" idea. It would give users the ability to have it the side that reaches the easiest at the moment. Ex: Sometimes my cord goes from the side of my MBP around the back and to the right to get to a wall outlet. I don't like the centered plug idea though. I like how there is nothing in the back of my laptop, it seems more clean or "tidy".

Simple is Apples motto so keeping the number of ports to a minimum is one of their goals, but in this case I think it would be more convenient to have right and left side Magsafe ports.

And if some kid with their Daddy's MacBook cord find's their cousin's MacBook with a cord plugged in on the other side, what then happens if the kid plugs in his cord on the other side of the notebook? Would Mac OS X decide which one to use? Apple could also introduce a wireless charging pad or something.

This sounds neat and all, too bad no one has really perfected this technology.

Perhaps in this situation Apple could design software to disable the oppostie Magsafe outlet not in use?

Yes, but..still..it's a waste of resources in OS X. I like how SL is slimmer in disk size.

SL may be slightly slimmer, but it also changed 1GB from 1024MB > 1000MB thus seeming like it takes much less footprint when in fact, it takes probably about the same maybe slightly less. On a 500GB HD, SL would seem to free 12000MB or 12GB from converting 1024MB = 1GB > 1000MB = 1GB.

I don't really like the idea of having power adapters on both sides. I like the clean look of my Macbook Aluminum. I honestly like how there are only ports on one side of the laptop. Although I do understand the frustration of plugging in a Board-band card and loosing 2 USB ports. Although with the new "Mifi's" you could go around that problem :p.
