Hello:

I’m really interested to get feedback from actually owners of the MacBook Air.

I’m considering a macbook air. It will most likely be stock (80GB HD), I may upgrade to the 1.8ghz.

In all honestly, the majority of my computer usage is to surf the net. I’d say 90% of the time. But I do use the following programs:

iTunes
iPhoto or Adobe Lightroom
MS Office
Safari (multiple windows)
Expression Web (via MS XP using bootcamp)
NetFlix movies (via MS XP)

How will the MBA handle these programs individually and in some cases simultaneously running?

Currently, I have a black macbook (2mths old). It’s a great machine, but I wanted the portability of the MBA. Someone is offering a good price on my black macbook, so I thought I’d put this out there…

Thanks,

VJ

You won't be disappointed. I do IT Management via Windows XP in Parallels. As I type, I have iTunes running, Entourage and Word running along iwth Adium, my CRM program My SQL and MSDE running and about 10 tabs open in Firefox.
I still have room and I can't say that I've ever been disappointed with this laptop. Would 4GB be better? Probably, but I've not been disappointed...

The Air will support those Apps very well. I think Windows will run quite smoothly as well though I've not tried it (and won't).

Since you're onto Netflix Movies, you'll probably want to take a look at iTunes rentals :-)
