MacBook Pro - problem with keyboard?

Im noticing that many times keystrokes arent getting recorded. This happens a lot with the first keystroke on ichat but im definately hitting the key well and every other sentence or so a keystroke isnt recorded.

is this a problem with MBPs or just mine?
