It looks like the folks over at Engadget received their own MBA yesterday and have posted some surprisingly (and not so surprisingly) sad information on it.

Remote disk does not come close to replacing the functionality of an optical drive

Usb devices and drives: better try before you buy (Think headphone jack on an iPhone)

Superdrive is USB only (already mentioned, but now confirmed)

MBA is slowest Mac (real shocker, but posted nonetheless)

Has anyone head anything else about the MBA from people who have gotten it? I realize this is all negative, so maybe someone out there has some good things to say.

I wasn't trying to defend the MBA, I was just pointing out a flaw in the post. I personally couldn't care less about the MBA.
